there's a difference

why oh why is everybody asking me when i'm getting married?
friends... cousin... friend's parents!
i'm GRADUATING!!!
yup... that's the reason i'm leaving uni...
because i'm done studying.
that's also the reason why i am going back home.
graduating does NOT equate to GETTING MARRIED!

Melbourne and graduation...

back from Melbourne...
with extra weight and less moolah.
i've also got lots of photos to share but i don't know if i'll ever get down to editing, arranging and uploading them here... so it's really better to just go to facebook. i'll be uploading them there soon.

my first trip with the cuzzie...
it was definitely fun but all the long travels on the road can get pretty tiring.
the only thing i can do to prevent me from getting sick on the road is to sleep and there's just wayyy too much sleeping to do. sleep can be tiring too.

visited lots of places and gained lots of new experiences...
and had lots of good food!!!
the highlights have got to be Koko Black and Fifteen Melbourne (Jamie Oliver's restaurant).
we managed to slip in a photo with his apprentice (and manager of the restaurant), Toby, as well.

more details on the trip in another post. with some photos i hope.

another news... i'm officially going to be wearing the square hat!!!
woohoo!!! best results this sem i think.
glad everything's going alright!

now i can't wait for my family to be here... =D

my monday's blue

moved and settled in my new place.
well... not really...i'm still living out of my luggages and boxes.
don't quite feel like home yet.
haven't had the chance to wind down and relax.
all this packing and moving is wayyy too tiring.

i think today has got to be one of my worse days in a long time.
first blow. got part of my research assessment back and didn't do as well as i had expected.
second blow. news i didn't really want to hear from the bf. just hate being in sucha situation where i have no say. it's not right to ask him to stay but it does not feel right to let him go either. i really want to support him whatever the decision is but i don't have it in me to do so. i would love if i could go with him but that's not up to me.
now... is there going to be a third?

and i saw a black cat today.
as it is you don't see cats very often in tassie...
unless it's in somebody's front/back yard or in a pet shop.
so i wonder if that has anything to do with this bad day.

three years in tassie... and i think only two people have seen me shed tears on two separate occasions.
today's the second time.

makes my heart itch...

i love wedding and pre-wedding videos! =D
they are just so sweet...
alright alright... i'm a hopeless romantic.

for some reason the guys in the videos are always less natural and seem a tad uncomfortable in some.
but i suppose if it's already so hard to get a bf to take a proper photo... it'll prob take a lot more to get a guy to film a video. MEN! *roll eyes* =p

awesome possum!

oh i hate this.
i have lots of time to study... which is good.
but still not enough to finish studying everything because half the time i am in completely no mood to study.
this study period is dragging on and on forever...
and i've lost any motivation that was even there to begin with.

and you know what else i hate at this time of the year?
darn sound of wheels on holed cement slabs... where you can hear every single bump.
and those wheels don't belong to the wheelie bins rolling along on sunday nights but those of trolley luggages or trolleys (any idea why they aren't spelt as trollies?) with boxes piled on them.
people... other people... are going home!!!
which just puts me right into the packing and going home mood.

but i am not done with exams yet!!!
wait... i haven't even started!!!
is more time good or bad...?


*another note* Ibsen just used this phrase: "Awesome possum"... which i thought is awesome possum!!! it made me laugh... and i think it's gonna be used a lot. Awesome possum!!! =D

notes & people, i study.

i am so tired of staying within the confines of my room...
so i have decided to move.
migrated to the college cafe.

large table for me to spread my notes out...
free internet...
people-watching...
find out interesting random facts about interesting random strangers...

distractions... yes.
but my breaks are much shorter and i have more productive time slots than when i am in my room.
i think the change of environment is good.
overall this works much better for me. =)
