sweet toothaches
this is shameless.. but i don't care!i want this Sakura yogurt mousse cake for my birthday!
or if you're on more of a budget,
i don't mind this Earl Grey Tiramisu either.
or just take me to Pâtisserie Glacé.
maybe i should stop reading food blogs and drooling at all the yummy stuffs. there's too many things i want to eat my way around that i could never manage to get them all in my tummy. i've got a whole list of restaurants, cafes and what-nots food places in a favourites folder now. i am determine to get through that list one by one.
make my tummy happy! =)

stupid boy?
everybody has a weak side, vulnerabilities and insecurities...and everybody needs someone who is able to accept them with no judgment or criticism.
the person we reveal this vulnerable side to is usually the person we trust and love the most, the person whom we feel the most comfortable with. to him, you're weak... BUT only because he's the only person you show that side to. so what happens when that person starts to judge and to criticise?
we build up the image that we reveal to them to be a bit stronger each time. but deep down inside, we are no more stronger than we used to be. the vulnerability will always be present inside, we just don't reveal them to that person anymore (or not as much as before). we all need a pillar of strength to lean on sometimes. a pillar that will be there whenever needed.
that pillar should be there for support, consolation and motivation, not to tell you you can't. basically, if you're a pillar to someone and you don't have anything nice to say, then just shut up.
i think this is also one of the main reasons why people stray.
Boy A and Girl are together.
Boy A does not provide the support Girl needs.
Girl has friend, Boy B who listens and gives her the emotional support she needs.
Girl falls for Boy B and leaves Boy A.
sounds familiar? i've witnessed this too many times.
in fact, such is so common that Keith Urban (my current favourite singer) even has a song about it called "Stupid Boy".
well she was precious
like a flower
she grew wild
wild but innocent
perfect prayer in a desperate hour
she was everything beautiful and different
stupid boy
you can't fence that in
stupid boy
it's like holding back the wind
she laid her heart and soul right in your hands
and you stole her every dream
and you crushed her plans
she never even knew she had a choice
and that's what happens when the only voice she hears
is telling her she cant
stupid boy
stupid boy
so what made you think that you could take a life
and just push it, push it around
i guess to build yourself up so high
you had to take her and break her down
she laid her heart and soul right in your hands
and you stole her every dream
and you crushed her plans
she never even knew she had a choice
and that's what happens when the only voice she hears
is telling her she cant
and you stupid boy
oh you always had to be right
and now you've lost the only thing that ever made you feel alive
she laid her heart and soul right in your hands
and you stole her every dream
and you crushed her plans, oh yes he did
she never even knew she had a choice
and that's what happens when the only voice she hears
is telling her she cant
you stupid boy
oh I'm the same old same old stupid boy
it took a while for her to figure out
she could run
but when she did
she was long gone, long gone
Nobody's ever gonna love me like she loved me
she loved me, she loved me
god please just let her know im sorry
im sorry, im sorry, im sorry baby
im down on my knees
she's never coming back to me

the greedy boy and me
Vesak day, after my vegetarian lunch:
he was supposed to cook me dinner but was too tired from his climb and i was too lazy to help. after going through the stuff in his fridge and cupboard, we ended up with dinner at a nearby hawker centre instead. after which, we went for our unavoidable trip to the supermarket. ended up with a punnet of cherries and a frozen pizza, both of which we finished within the night despite already being stuffed from dinner. apart from continuously chomping, all we did was laze in front of the tv while he channel surfed and i grow bored, until the night grew old and we snuggled up into bed.
it was nice waking up (partially) in his arms. (i say 'partially' because his old tiny smelly bolster takes priority when it comes to being hugged. sigh... where do i stand (or lie).) i like disturbing him in the morning when he's awake but yet not quite. i manipulate his facial features to make any kind of funny faces i feel like, and then i laugh to myself and sometimes he lets out a laugh too in his half-sleep-form.
because his work for the day got called off, we get to stay in for the rest of the day. good thing coz i was having a horrible headache from not having my caffeine fix earlier in the morning. i plopped on the sofa when we got home and slowly slide into a comfortable slouchy position. he then plopped next to me and dropped his head, landing it on my tummy. me reading the funnies in readers' digest and he reading some mag about sports stuffs (with pretty girls in bikinis in them) . aaahhh... i could do that all day everyday. just being together. =)
after being rested, we made fish food with his mummy's cookie maker (shhhh...) and played a game of Citadels (which he lost miserably =p).
what a weekend...
then it was time for me to make the long painful journey back home... this time alone.
